| so here is a funny story for all you people reading xanga on a monday when you should be working!
Anyways so here goes.. I was eatting lunch with a couple of my new
coworkers and we get into the discussion about how if you are an
engineering major at a NY school the only real occupation you can go to
(if you want to stay in NY) is IT at one of the bank, firms, etc.
So my coworker who is from the east coast told me that she had an
intership at one of the top finance companys doing IT stuff... and
funny things happen there..so here is one of them
This guy calls one of the IT people saying that he can't turn off his
computer and he can still hear it on.. so the people go how are you
turning it off.. and he goes just the normal way and they tell him how
to shut it down but he doesn't get it so finally he goes "why don't
just come up and show me". So the IT person goes up to the guys office
and when he gets there he goes show me how you are doing it..
so the guy goes and trys to turn the computer off.. how.. by pushing
the power button on the monitor.. and goes "see it doesn't turn off"
haha then the IT person is like in shock and shows him.. and the guy
goes "i'm not stupid" hahhah...

| WOW what a day. Today I said good bye to all my coworkers and it marks
the end of my current job. My partner so happened to also turn in out
final project report so that is also the completion of my graduate degree.
weird... end of a period in my life and next week I start a new one!

| It has become apparent to me that my body is really use to having
either some amount of sugar or caffine in it. On the days that I don't
drink soda (usually because I eat lunch at some asian type of place..
where I was trained since birth to only drink water or tea) I
feel really tired and most of the time a slight headache creeps up. I
want to break free from this but soda is so tasty and even if I were to
drink it occasionally I would still become use to it. There is no way
out... Dr. Pepper owns me..
